As a professional musician for over 20 years, I've played everywhere from The O2, London to touring the UK, Europe and the US and all points in-between. I was Mick Ralphs' (Mott The Hoople/Bad Co) guitar player in his solo band for 6 years and guitarist for leading UK Americana outfit, Case Hardin for 10 years. Recent years have found me as part of Nashville's own, Don Gallardo and AMA-UK Award winning songwriter Dean Owens' touring bands and co-writer of songs with the acclaimed Pete Gow on his last two albums. In 2019, I was an AMA-UK Instrumentalist Of The Year Nominee. 2022 saw the unveiling of my new solo project,
"Jim Maving And The Glorious Noise".
In July 2024, I joined The Autumn Saints promoting their albums and touring.

My guitar has been my friend, my passport to travel, my key to unlock new experiences and it's been by my side for many years.
I'm available for tours/gigs/recording for all styles, including slide, lapsteel, mandolin and include vocals as well.
